During my doctoral studies, I discovered that I want to use my skills as a writer, editor, and researcher to create content for a public (rather than academic) audience. I began copyediting at the Los Angeles Review of Books, and I edited and wrote for several organizations including Lincoln Center, The Forward, and the American Jewish World Service (AJWS). Currently, I am a senior writing consultant at The Graduate Center of the City of New York, where I work with graduate students on their dissertations, theses, and grant and fellowship applications.
My passion has always centered around writing, and I am slowly making a name for myself as a critic who creates thoughtful and nuanced pieces that connect the culture we consume to the world we live in. You can find my work in Paste Magazine, Hey Alma, The Forward, the Los Angeles Review of Books, and the Blog at the Los Angeles Review of Books.
